2022 XBC Championship Events

We are delighted to announce that the 2022 list of XBC Championship Events has been published on the Web Site.

It is hoped that the Regs will soon be published, and entries will soon be open. In the meantime this list should help you to mark out your calendar.

This year sees a welcome return to firm favourite Golspie, after a couple of years of date clashes. Sadly we lose Scammonden and Olivers Mount where track difficulties mean that no events are running, and we can only hope to see these venues back in operation at some future juncture.

We also have a new venue this year, with Curborough suggested as a worthy addition by Dave, whose annual task it is to put together our Events Menu. Looking at the map, can it be coincidence that this track is to Dave’s doorstep, what Kames is to mine ? !!

Have a look at the track layout. Is it only me that sees a lorgnette ? Anyway, both of your XBC organisers are resolved to have a greater events presence this year, after a couple of years where “life just gets in the way”, and we look forward to seeing as many of our cohort as can make it to this new XBC venue.

Feel free to reply to this email and let us know of your plans for the year, and we will be back in touch when we open for entries.

July Kames Weekend

The weather was reasonably kind to Kames this weekend, and another good turnout of XBC competitors enjoyed a well run weekend.

Not so much fun for Willie & Angela who retired on the very first run of the Saturday with engine problems. Mild entertainment provided by Graham D who decided that a smoke screen was the best way to hide his hairpin dressage performance on the Sunday. It was also “hats off” to David M, who provided a Noble attempt at air braking straight off the start line.

The weekends results and scoring are now available from the 2015 Events Page.

With the cancellation of Three Sisters, we now have a lull until September, and if you haven’t already done so, get your entries in for Ty Croes and Harewood. Let us know if you plan to attend these events, and we will plan accordingly.
